Raylene is an international lecturer in Nutrition and Acupuncture, co-
author of “Living and Surface Anatomy” and has acted as a
spokesperson for the British Acupuncture Council Press team.
For the last 30 years, Raylene has created her own style of combined
therapies. She feels that in today’s world no one therapy has all the
answers. People need a mixture of therapies and medicine to help
balance them emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually. Her
approach allows her to be flexible with each patient.
Her journey began after completing her BA in Human Movement
Science and Psychology at the University of Stellenbosch in 1991 and
her Higher Education Diploma in 1992. She started her working
career at the Rustenberg Health Hydro in Stellenbosch (South Africa’s
top rated natural health resort) where she headed up the
Department of Fitness. In 1994, she completed her diploma in
Therapeutic Body Massage and Shiatsu in Cape Town, South Africa. In
May 1995, a friend and herself travelled all the way up the South East
of Africa bringing their skills of holistic health to the various farming
communities. While travelling, Raylene completed her Reiki 1 & 2 and
Touch for Health 1 & 2 in Harare, Zimbabwe. This formed the base for
her desire to become a rounded holistic practitioner in the fields of
human psychology, health, energy medicine and spirituality which
resulted in her moving to London to further her studies in 1996.
In London, she taught Health and Social Care as a secondary school
teacher for 14 years, becoming the head of two different
departments. While doing this she continued her studies and treated
in a variety of holistic clinics, including running a clinic for stressed
teachers in her school. In 1998 she gained her Hypno-Psychotherapy
diploma at the National School of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy in
London, In 2003 she graduated from the London College of
Traditional Acupuncture (LCTA) and holds a BSc (Hons) in
Acupuncture. In 2007, she completed her Post Graduate Diploma in
Nutrition from the University of East London, as well as completing
her Diploma in Tui Na at the Asante’ Academy of Chinese medicine
(Nan Jing University). In 2008, she became a Certified Practitioner of
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Time Line Therapy, Emotional
Freedom Technique (EFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and
Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cyberkinetics (advanced kinesiology).
In 2010, Raylene moved to Perth and opened Natura Acupuncture
Clinic. While in Australia she has expanded her acupuncture training
and treatment to include specific Scalp, Ear and Body acupuncture
techniques, including Master Tung and Dr Tan style acupuncture. She
has also included Matrix Reimprinting, Emmett Therapies and
Iridology into her repertoire.
Raylene is a member of Australian Health Practitioner Regulation
Agency (AHPRA), International Institute of Complementary Therapies
(IICT), and Australian National Therapies Association (ANTA).
Charlotte McNeil
BsC(Hons) Acupuncture (2005), Dip Tui Na, Reiki Master, Emmett
Practitioner, EFT & Matrix Reimprinting Practitioner, EMDR (Eye
Movement Desensitization and Reprogramming), Iridology
Charlotte has a particular interest in working with patients with:
•
Pain and musculoskeletal issues
•
Natural or assisted fertility, pregnancy and post-natal care
•
Gynaecological disorders
•
Digestive disorders
Charlotte’s journey began in her early twenties when a friend
suggested trying osteopath and Swedish massage to aid her recovery
from sports injuries. She was amazed by the ability of her body to
recover quickly when given the right combination of therapies. Her
fascination into the mind body connection was triggered.
Along the way, she wanted to give back to the complimentary
industry and developed the marketing department for the BAcC
(British Acupuncture Council). With them, she helped raise the profile
of acupuncture, worked with the British press and media, the Prince
Charles Foundation and national charities to help educate the public
and Western Medical practitioners on acupuncture.
She also worked for the world renowned Zita West Fertility Clinic in
London as well as having her own private practice. In 2010, Natura
Acupuncture Clinic was moved from London to Kalamunda, Perth.
Charlotte has been teaching and supporting patients since she first
studied Reiki in New Zealand in 1996 and later became a Reiki Master
in South Africa. In 2005, she graduated from the London College of
Traditional Acupuncture (LCTA) with a BSc (Hons) degree.
She holds a diploma in Tui Na, certificate in Emotional Freedom
Technique (EFT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and
Reprogramming ( EMDR ). In the UK she continued post-graduate
studies into sports medicine, fertility and obstetrics.
Since moving to Australia, she has added different styles of
acupuncture, Matrix Reimprinting, Emmett Therapy and Iridology to
her tool box.
Charlotte is a member of Australian Health Practitioner Regulation
Agency (AHPRA), International Institute of Complementary Therapies
(IICT), and Australian National Therapies Association (ANTA).
