Iridology

Iridology is the study of health through examination of the colour, structure, sclera and the pupil of the eye. It is not a treatment therapy but a tool to give your practitioner more information about the health of your body. The iris of the eye has a reflex connection (zones) to every organ and tissue of the body by way of the nervous system. Visual information is sent to the brain via the optic nerve. The brain sends information back to the eyes via the optic nerve about the state of the organs and tissues in the body. The iris over time develops identifiable markings that relate to the body’s condition/s. Iridologists assess colour and fibre structure for signs of imbalance, constitutional strength, areas of congestion or toxin accumulation and inherent strengths and weaknesses. Your practitioner then uses this in conjunction with other diagnostic tools to develop an individualised health program. Iridology does not take the place of detailed medical practices and blood tests.
